Interview questions and answers for front end developer

Interview questions and answers for front end developer :

In this post we're going to be talking all about the four common questions front and developers get and the answers to go along with them to help you in your next interview.

And if you like post like this make sure you comment and hit notification bell to get more content like this in the future.

My name is shyam.Today I provide you the questions and answers for front end developer. In total we're going to cover for questions today.

What is Ajax what is responsive design the pros and cons of node and what is a RESTful API.

Let's jump right into the first one. What is Aja reason? why we are asking this Ajax question? is it is extremely crucial for you as a front end developer to know how to communicate between a client and a server?.More than likely the employer will want to validate that you know how to do that. Because everybody's apps nowadays rely on data and if you can't get the data or know how to work with the data. Well we have a problem.

So let's get into the question. Ajax is asynchronous JavaScript in XML. Ajax communicates by transferring data between the client and the server using XHR which stands for XML HTTP request. Ajax is like a phone call. Once you dial the phone number and hit send the request is sent off and it comes back with someone on the other line. You don't have to worry about how it transfers the data at all. All you have to think about is what to say and to do next. Much like your code. Ultimately the experience the world gets from the Internet that we know and love would not be possible without asynchronous javascript and XML.

The next question is responsive design. What is it. Now why are we asking about responsive design. Well we are asking about responsive design here because as a front end developer it's not just about building logic for you. It's not just about connecting to APIs. It's also about designing the user experience that will ultimately get the customers to enjoy your product. We have to prove to your potential employer that you know how to build responsive designs based on the user experience they've asked for.

So let's get into the question. Responsive Web Design is an approach to web design that makes the Web pages render well on a variety of devices and window screens and sizes. This is all done by creating elements that respond differently when using things like flex box media queries and responsive libraries. If we look back at how we used to do it years ago you would see how you basically had to build two sites one for your main domain and a second for the mobile domain. Now building out an entire responsive site can take more time in the upfront costs of ours because as a developer you have to design and implement all the different viewports you want to support. But in the end the payoff will be huge because of the experience your customers will receive and the time the team will get back in the long run.

On to the next question what are the pros and cons of nodeJS the reason here why we're talking about the pros and cons of node is more or less to point out that the pros and cons question can be asked on any technology you have. But it's becoming more apparent as front end developers with react or angular that you have to know how to use something such as node. It's no longer just JavaScript HTML and CSS. You have to be able to know one of these front end frameworks that ultimately require node.

Now let's jump into the pros and cons of node nodeJS is a runtime environment based off Chrome's V8 engine. It allows you to write server side code with JavaScript.

Let's go through some pros and cons starting with the pros. It has an async event driven IO which helps it with concurrent requests on a single thread.

The next pro is that is using the language of JavaScript which opens the doors for a lot of developers to use. NodeJS.

next pro is it has the largest package management system in the world with NPM and it's completely open source and free for anyone to use and to publish packages.

The last pro here is that nodeJS is extremely good at short iterative requests because of its architecture and majority apps in the world only need short iterative requests so node fits the bill for a lot of applications.

Let's go to the other side of spectrum let's talk about some cons. First and foremost the biggest con we have is scaling since it's single threaded it doesn't scale the best.

The second con is it doesn't do well with CPU intensive tasks and the next con I have for you is that as good as NPM is in the open source world is for node it's also its biggest con and I say that because of how malicious code can be injected in to the network can be potentially injected into the network.

And last but not least from a cons perspective it doesn't do that well with unhandled error exceptions that most developers don't know how to catch properly. Nor is it discussed about or easily implemented for you to make sure you're catching everything more often not. It'll just error out and kill the program. My experience with node over the last five years has been absolutely amazing and has done amazing things for me as a developer. Not only have I join a thriving community that I've now integrated with fully I have been able to give back to the community with some my own NPM packages where on average I get about a million downloads per year of people using my software.

Onto the next question. What is a RESTful API. Now why are we asking what is a RESTful API here. And it's because your employer not only wants to know that you can connect through Ajax from the client to the server but they want to know you know how to integrate with a well-designed API.

And like I said in the last one with nodeJS it's becoming also more apparent for front end developers that you sometimes have to go build out your own RESTful API is in nodeJS. Because even though this video's called front end and we're talking about front end things front end developers are more often not becoming full stack developers because of node and we have to know how to build out an API or how to use a properly formatted API such as a restful architecture.

Let's get into the question of what is restful rest stands for representational state transfer. It's an architectural approach to designing Web services. The common HTTP methods used by most RESTful web APIs is our get put post delete and patch. In my experience the beauty of using a properly designed RESTful API is that you know a couple of things. And by that I mean the methods will start to paint a really good picture of the API and how to use it.

For example we know we get a get method and the route is API / blog / whatever the ID is. I know by that that I will get one item back if I take the ID off. I know I will get all blogs back. If I'm making a put route with the ID I will update some or if I change it to a post method it will create if you like post like this make sure you to comment  and hit notification bell to get more content like this in the future.

Top 7 IoT (internet of things) projects

IoT project ideas , IoT training :

Hello all, this is shyam and welcome to this interesting session on Internet of Things projects.

Now in this session we'll be talking about the top seven projects which are outstanding themselves in the Internet of Things domain now before we talk about each of these projects let me start off with a simple introduction to what is Internet of Things Internet of Things basically is a concept or a technology which aims to connect all the devices to the Internet and help them communicate with each other using the Internet as a medium now these devices can be anything it could be a TV it could be a mobile phone it could be a watch even your car as such anything that can be connected to the Internet can be considered as adevice for Internet of Things the intention of using Internet as a mediumof communication is to help you achieve a wider and a greater reach with respectto these devices again the end aim of Internet of Things is to help you createa smart world that's out there now let's talk about each of these projects.

7. let's start with number seven which is a biometric system now a biometric system is something that we always encounter on our daily basis as well because we always either use a fingerprint sensor or we use an iris scanning so it depends from organization to organization but how does this actually work the system there let's take in case of this example has a fingerprint scanner now the first time that I am presenting my fingerprint it scans the fingerprintand considers this as part of an enrollment process from this fingerprinttemplate would it does is that it extracts certain key features whichmakes different from others and stores it into a database from then forwardevery time that I placed my finger on top of this fingerprint scanner itcreates a template and compares this with all the templates that's present inthe database if it matches then correspondingly let's say gives me anattendance or lets me access a tour if it does not then it raises an alert withrespect to that same now this is just a foundation now as I said this biometricsystem can be fingerprint it can be is canny or it can be a combination of bothas well voice recognition system is one of the key products in the biometricdomain .

6. next we have smart irrigation system now I am someone who personally likes gardening a lot now this is something that would really make my life easier because usually what I do is that on Sundays I spend our two hours just watering and looking after my plants through a smart irrigation system what it does is that it checks the moisture present in the environment or in the water lines that I have created now to help you understand how it works usually there are two main Internet of Things devices that I used here which is the Adreno board and the Raspberry Pi your  Raspberry Pi becomes the main processing unit and I place an Adreno board for each of my water channels these addressing modes themselves are connected to multiple sensors which are part of this water channel so what these sensors do is that they check the moisture present in these lanes as such so let's say a specific link does not meet the minimum required moisture then  what it would do is that it would send a signal to the Raspberry Pi again all these devices are connected on the same wireless router network and the Raspberry Pi would identify the lack of moisture and pass a signal to the relay the relay in turn would initiate the water pump and water would be parked now  in order to ensure that water is not wasted we would create gate controls and only the gate where the moisture is less would the gate be open once my sensor detects that the moisture level has gone beyond my required limit it would again say another signal to the Raspberry Pi asking it to stop the pump as well sothis in turn helps you to save a lot of water and also makes your life quite easier as well so after this your only task in your garden would be either setting up new plans or creating new water channels as such

5. the next project in our list is a security camera and door unlock system now this is something that's quite interesting and I've personally tried to start and it's really something that you should try out as well here what happens is that you place a camera on top foot door which in turn clicks the photo of a person who comes into the frame now this photo is again sent to an analytical system whichin turn compares this with all the photos that it possesses in order toidenti fy whether to let the user open the door or not now an evolution to this is that if it does not find the photo of that person it can notify the concern that so-and-so person is trying to access this door would you like to authorize this person and add his information to the database or would you like to deny the access to this person as well usually this is used in areas where you have high sensitive information stored in order to maintain a strict control to the access to this information as well another usage of the security camera and/or unlock system can be even at our homes when we can identify who's come at our home when we're not there and either decide to give them access to our homes or not.

4. now the next thing is something that we all really desire to have which is a smart home system a smart home system can be something that really makes our life quite easy starting from energy management where the light control system is the AC the appliances that we use the thermostat all this is managed in short trying to cut down the power consumption that's taking place my door management system is also part of this my security system is also part of this my water management system again becomes a part of this Asma again these are key things that really stands out in the smart home system but again what I would personally recommend is that a smart homes limitations is where our imagination stops anything that you wish to automate or may wish to make your life easier can be part of a smart phone system as well now a smart home usually is going to be a base for our

3. next project which is a smart city a smart city is an evolution of a smart home here it's not just the sensors of a single home that is connected here its correlation or a network or a connection between various organizations various domains as well as various segments of that city as a whole as such here the life of every single dependent person in that city becomes easier as a whole as well and in turn will really help develop that city to greater extends assuch now the key factor here for a smart city is a government support as well and if governments are really willing to take this step then I hope we would seea smart city completely built on Internet of Things maybe the next five to ten years as well.

2. now the next project is something that really stands out on a personal level this is Zelda Ocarina controlled home automation system this is personally something that I feel the closest to a smart home system well most of the elements of the hoop is completely controlled by an ocarina what Alan pan has done here is that he's created a node-based recognition system which completely automates his hope but rather than telling more about this let's just look at a quick video which will give you a glimpse into how he has done this and what has he done .

1. next on our list at number one if you've not already guessed is jarvis. jarvis is the artificial intelligence system that Facebook's creator Marc second burg has built for his home automated system I am quite sure you've already seen the video of Mark Zuckerberg interacting with Jarvis which has Morgan Freeman's voice and if you've not here's a quick glimpse into the same good morning Jarvis good morning mark it's Saturday so you only have five meetings room temperature is set to a cool 68 degrees earlier this year I've started building a simple AI to help run our home I talked to Jarvis using this app I built it uses artificial intelligence to understand me and figure out what to do max woke up afew minutes ago I'm entertaining her alright let's go check on her - soundman Jarvis your Mandarin is so thing future Jarvis also helps me get ready in the morning fresh shirt fire in the hole hell yeah Jarvis knows when to make me breakfast your toast is ready alright it's time for my call - rep can you get him on the video conference line setting up the BC room now remember to check on the AI guidance system forakela one of the best things about Jarvis is it could recognize people at the gate let them in automatically and then just tell me about it mark your parents are coming in thanks Geoffrey its Jarvis and Jarvis can play all ofour favorite music hey play some good Nickelback songs I'm sorry mark I'm afraid I can't do that there are no good Nickelback song good that was actually a test okay how about just play some songs that our whole family likes what I'm a dad now this is what I listen to now what you need to understand here is that Indian of things is not something that's this dependent on a sensor or a few sensors which is connected to a Raspberry Pi on an Adreno put when I look at the entire architecture of IOT this is a complete ecosystem wherein my sensors gather information which is again stored on a platform and then processed on this now if there have been any issues or failures that have been reported by these sensors then I need to create actionable items in order to ensure that this is never really repeated again but the information once it's been processed the processed data is then passed into machine learning and artificial intelligence in order to understand analyze and identify various patterns that's out there and help pass this information on back to the sensor this in turn helps you have a better experience and also improve the system as a whole a system where I come home every day at 8:30 start off my AC wait for 15 minutes for it to cool down is at edious process but say today my Internet of Things platform identifies this patter already switches on the AC at 8:15 then I just need to come home and I can relax right away.

this is one of the key examples or one of the key ideas that's out there today and the limitation here again is just your imagination so with this we got to come to a conclusion of this content but we are going to come up with a lot more content on Internet of Things and the various projects are on that so if there's some project that really you want to know more about please let us know in the comment section below with this thank you and goodbye.

I hope you have enjoyed listening to this video please be kind enough to like it and you can comment any of your doubts and queries and we will reply them at the earliest do look out for more videos in our playlist and share to learn more happy learning .

Internet of things (IOT)

What is IoT  ? How it works  ? IoT explained by shyam.

The Internet of Things or iot is influencing our lifestyle from the way we react to the way we behave. From air conditioners that you can control with your smartphone to Smart Cars providing the shortest route or your Smart watch which is tracking your daily activities. IoT is a giant network with connected devices. These devices gather and share data about how they are used and the environment in which they are operated. It's all done using sensors, sensors are embedded in every physical device.

It can be your mobile phone, electrical appliances Pecos barcode sensors traffic lights and almost everything that you come across in day-to-day life. These sensors continuously emit data about the working state of the devices, but the important question is how do they share this huge amount of data, And how do we put this data to our benefit iot provides a common platform for all these devices to dump their data. And a Common language for all the devices to communicate with each other. Data is emitted from various sensors and sent to iot platform security iot platform integrates the collected data from various sources further analytics is performed on the data and valuable information is extracted as per requirement. Finally. The result is shared with other devices for better user experience Automation and improving efficiencies. Let us look at a scenario where iot is doing wonders. In an AC manufacturing industry both the manufacturing machine and the Belt have sensors attached they continuously send data regarding the machine health and the production specifics to the manufacturer to identify issues beforehand. A barcode is attached to each product before leaving the belt. It contains the productcode, manufacturer details, special instructions Etc. The manufacturer usesthis data to identify where the product was distributed and trackthe Retailer's inventory hence, the manufacturer can makethe product running out of stock available Next this productsare packed and parcel to different retailers. Each retailer has a barcode reader to trackthe products coming from different manufacturers, manage inventory, check special instructions and many more. The compressor of air conditioner has an embedded sensor that emits data regarding its health and temperature. This data is not allies continuously allowing the customer care to contact youfor the repair work in time. This is just oneof the million scenarios.

We have Smart appliances, SmartCars, Smart Homes, smart Cities where iot is redefiningour lifestyle and transforming the way we interactwith Technologies. The future of iot industry is huge. Business Insiderintelligence estimates that 24 billion iot deviceswill be installed by 2020 and ITC predicts that iot Revenue will reacharound three hundred and fifty seven billion in 2019 resulting in a lotof job opportunities in the IT industry.Want to become a part of the iot Revolution, comeand master iot with shyam
